A chemical peel may sound scary at first, but if you are wanting smoother, softer skin, this may be the right treatment plan for you. You may experience some itchiness, and flaking for 3-7 days, but you will NOT have large parts of your skin coming off. You will be instructed on how to care for your skin. You WILL need to prep your skin for peeling on approved clinical grade skin care. Chemical peels treat many different skin conditions including dryness, sun damage, hyperpigmentation, oiliness, acne(mild to severe), and aging concerns. But even normal skin will benefit from a chemical peel! Peels result in: - improved texture of the skin, barrier function, and moisture retention -increased cell turnover rate, hydration, and intercellular lipids(good fats) -reduced fine lines, wrinkles, and surface pigmentation -skin that looks and feels smoother and softer -increased elastin and collagen production Your peels will be customized to your skin needs. You must be on approved clinical skin care to have a peel done. This series includes your initial facial, analysis, and consultation, a total of four peels over 8 weeks, your skin care package that you will use over 2-3 months (and beyond!) and a facial with microdermabrasion at the beginning and at the end of the 8 weeks. This requires weekly appointments weeks 1-4, and in week 8. **This series may only be done every 6 months.
